Life takes many twists and turns down the track of life. Sometimes, we are derailed for a time or sidelined to destinations unknown. I have discovered that where I thought I was going and where I am today are two separate tracks that parallel each other and have entirely different views.
I have had opportunities to participate in two fantastic events this year: the Hostler Model Railroad Festival in March and the CUMC Spring Fling Boutique last weekend. Although they were emotionally draining for me, I can honestly say I had a lot of fun and learned so much!
I’ve met some fantastic people who are helpful and resourceful to a newbie like me. The venue/event patrons are so friendly that the time there passes with zeal! I am looking forward to going to new shows and meeting other enthusiasts.
