During 2020, Sarah had lots of free time and decided to make a G-scale tunnel for her father’s indoor train display. She planned to include two custom laser-engraved portals in her creation. Sarah discovered a wholesale laser company called Country Lazer to make these portals.. Additionally, she secured a job with the same company, allowing her to expand her creative skills and go off the rails!
In 2021, Sarah created the magnetic system for the two-dimensional buildings, which would join her father’s indoor train set.
The magnetic system allowed the Train Station buildings to be easily separated and reattached, making it easier to access and maintain the lights.
Ironwood Rails was born in 2022 from your interests, her family’s support, and the encouragement of the laser company Sarah works for.
The Tunnel Portals were the first to be offered, and in 2023, they expanded to include stickers, ornaments, and two-dimensional magnetic models: the Train Station, Victorian House, and Fire Station.
